Once upon a Time..
This year, despite being a tough one for many, seems to have flown by and we are now preparing for our Christmas Close Down period so that our hardworking meerkats can leave the Fuzed burrow and let loose for a couple of weeks! We will be closing at 5pm on Wednesday 21st of December and reopening again at 8.30am on Monday 16th of January 2023.
We did something a little different for Halloween this year. Fuzed proudly sponsored the Laingholm Community Haunted House and it was such a blast! We also got our creative caps on and created some cool fluro ink bats and gravestones for the haunted house, printed on our new Indigo 7900. The weekend was so much fun with more than 900 visitors through the haunted house over 2 days.
Sorrento in the Park provided the perfect venue for the 2022 Women in Print + Sign Auckland event, where attendees gathered to network, including the team from Fuzed.
After a 2-year Covid hiatus, the turnout was incredible. It was amazing to mingle and network with all the attendees. Ruth Cobb, Chief Executive of Print NZ, welcomed the gathering, thanked the sponsors, and highlighted the importance of connections across the industry.
The main sponsor of the evening, Penelope Savidan, Managing Director at B&F Paper, introduced our keynote speaker of the night. This year was Kerre Woodham, a well-known New Zealand journalist, radio presenter, author, and columnist. Kerre delighted us with her witty humour and thrilling tales.
The evening closed on a high note, with lucky number prizes awarded to several lucky winners, and each attendee taking home a goodie bag. Thanks so much to Print NZ for supporting and encouraging the role of women in our fascinating industry. Looking forward to the 2023 event!
Indigo 7900 Silver Metallic Ink
