Once upon a Time..
Thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday 1st September for the official launch of “Light and Motion Art” at The Art Bureau in Mt Eden.
About 80 people turned up to the opening night launch and were greeted by Auckland-based print company Fuzed and artist, designer and sculptress Jane Mason.
Lenticular Curator Karen Farr said the Lenticular exhibition was a huge success that showcased the work of many months of preparation beginning with a conversation that began 2 years ago with Jane Mason.
Our collaboration with Jane was born from a desire to introduce our lenticular printing abilities to the New Zealand public, to showcase what we can do on a new platform and bring awareness to this incredible artform to create a body of work that is truly engaging, valuable and enduring.
Lenticular art is a way of expressing ourselves. It provokes the viewer to interact, to leave the static position, to move…inviting intrigue as each piece is examined from different perspectives.
The Light and Motion Exhibition is open to the public weekday’s between 10am and 4pm until the 14th September and after hours viewing available on request at The Art Bureau, 228a Dominion Road, Mt Eden.
Don’t miss out go and check out this incredible exhibition. Lenticular print needs to be seen to be really appreciated, it’s such an amazing visual experience that trying to explain it on paper simply does not do it justice.
Thank you to all of the people who came to support us, on the opening night and throughout the next 2 weeks while the exhibition runs. We were elated to see you all and your support is hugely appreciated.
